Dr. Rogel Mari D. Sese, Program Leader and University Research Fellow of FEATI University
The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) consortium aims to locally develop a medium-range, long-endurance UAV for disaster risk reduction and management. The major tasks are distributed to three Universities. FEATI University will design and fabricate the biocomposite airframe and integrate the components of the UAV. DLSU will develop the flight controller of the modular UAV. ADMU will develop the imaging payload and a communication system with cooperative capability with other UAVs and other ground units. This UAV Research and Development Program is funded by the PCIEERD-DOST.

Title: Fueling the Supply Chain of Aerospace Companies for Global Growth
Mr. Chris Buono, Managing Director, UPS
UPS will leverage its industry experience as one of one of the world’s largest airlines and its familiarity in supporting Industrial/Aerospace manufacturing customers around the world for their logistics needs.
While UPS understand that pricing is an important aspect for Aerospace companies in Philippines, with rising cost of raw materials, labor and investing in machineries, transportation expenses for importing and exporting, Mr. Chris Buono would rather position the added value UPS can provide to Aerospace companies.
The workshop will focus on Global and Future Trends (including Asia and then the Philippines), then will explain the pain points of Aerospace companies and logistics solutions and finally will conclude with a case study presentation.
